Why Skateboarding?
Skateboarding is great exercise and you can burn up to 600 calories in an hour, as you use most parts of your body to skate. As well as providing great cardio exercise, skateboarding is great for balance, precision, co-ordination, muscle development, weight loss and a love of physical activity. It promotes creativity, resilience, endurance and perserverance.
With a drive for schools to provide a creative and engaging curriculum you couldn’t ask for a better sport. It meets your PE curriculum’s need for adventurous and outdoor sports.
